Welcome to Marina Vista Elementary, home of the Ospreys.   I would like to extend a warm welcome to students new to Marina Vista this school year and a big welcome back to our returning scholars.  Our staff has been working and planning for the return of our scholars.  I am excited as we embark on the 2023-2024 school year and I am honored to serve as your principal.

This year our passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable staff will create an environment rich with academic challenges and activities designed to support your child as he or she learns and grows mentally, physically and socially.  Our goal at Marina Vista  is to guide our scholars as they develop into future citizens who will enter our community and enrich it by their presence.

It is important that we develop a partnership that encourages our students to BELIEVE in the possibility to ACHIEVE to their highest ability, and SUCCEED at everything to which they devote their time and effort.  You have the opportunity to become involved this year by attending our monthly Parent Booster Club meetings, ELAC meetings, School Site Council meetings, visiting your child’s classroom, and through our many parent volunteer program opportunities.  For more information on how you can assist, please contact our parent coordinator at (925) 473-2490.  Your support and involvement help to create scholars who are interested and enthusiastic about learning.
